Denmark (continued)
On this same trip we spent two additional weeks touring Norway again with Chris
and Prudy in tow. The tour was organized but self-guided. After taking an
overnight ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo, we began there and moved from place
to place via train, car, ferry, ship, bus, and train. The Oslo train took us
over the mountains to Bergen on the west coast. Then with our rental car, we
went inland and north, several times travelling on car ferries along the
beautiful famous Norway fjords. The views were spectacular. Eventually we
arrived in Trondheim, then an overnight ship called Hurtigruten in the North
Sea back to Bergen. We than bussed south to Stavanger. From there it was via
train along the southern part of Norway back to Oslo, where the next day we
boarded the overnight ferry back to Copenhagen for our flight back to the USA.
